March 5, 2021 Newsletter: The Vaccine Roll-Out Must be Fair

Vaccines are the light at the end of a very long tunnel. We can stop the illness, loss of life, isolation and economic hardship so many people are facing now. I know people are anxiously waiting to learn when they will get their life saving vaccine. Our local public health unit is doing the best they can. I have serious concerns about inequities in the government’s vaccine rollout priority list. The government has overlooked how Toronto has the most health care workers in Ontario. I am calling on the government to: Add adults with serious underlying conditions to the priority list Prioritize high-risk postal codes
