Toronto is in crisis.

Without emergency operating funds from the provincial or federal governments, the city will lay off front line staff.,

Homelessness is already a public health emergency. And how has the Government responded?

 

By prioritizing Bill 184 — to fast-track evictions instead. Toronto deserves real housing solutions.

And Ontarians are still facing evictions during COVID-19.Watch and share the story of a family who was evicted during COVID-19.That's why, in committee, I put forward motions to: ban evictions during COVID-19 increase fines for corporate landlords close the rent control loophole end vacancy decontrol. The Government stopped my amendments. Fast-tracking evictions during a pandemic will hurt our communities. Sign our petition to stop COVID-19 Evictions.
