Second dose appointments for individuals 18+:
- Please Note: Availability of second dose appointments may vary based on vaccine supply.
- Starting on Monday June 14, residents in Toronto who received their first Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine dose on or before May 9 can book their second dose.
- Individuals 70 years and older, as well as anyone who had a first dose of an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) on or before April 18, can book earlier appointment for their second shot.

When you become eligible for your second dose:
- Second dose appointments can be rebooked through the provincial booking system and through pharmacies.
- Second dose appointments can also be booked (without a first appointment) in the provincial booking system.
- The clinic or pharmacy where you received your first dose will contact you to reschedule your second dose appointment.
- High-risk health care workers, dialysis patients, Individuals 80 and over, and all First Nations, Inuit and Métis individuals are already eligible to receive a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine earlier than the previously recommended four-month interval.

Second dose AstraZeneca appointments:

If your first dose was the AstraZeneca vaccine, for your second dose you can choose to receive either:
- a second dose of AstraZeneca
- one of the mRNA vaccines (Pfizer or Moderna)

You can get either of these options:
- at least 8 weeks after your first dose
- at a participating pharmacy or primary care setting
- Find a full list of pharmacies offering AstraZeneca, Pfizer, or Moderna vaccines here.
- Please note: Not all pharmacies that offered first dose AstraZeneca vaccines are currently administering second doses. If you have not already been contacted by your pharmacy to book a second dose, please continue to check with participating pharmacies about the availability of appointments.
